Rösch glycerin suppositories are intended to make bowel movements easier when a gentle effect is recommended: in case of haemorrhoids, after surgery, for bedridden patients, elderly people, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children. The suppositories work by a physical hydrophilic mechanism – glycerin stimulates the rectal mucosa to release water, which softens the stool, and the increasing volume triggers the natural bowel reflex.

Use:

Always use exactly as described in the package leaflet or as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist.

• Infants and young children (28 days to 23 months): 1 suppository of 1 g.
• Children aged 2 and over, adolescents and adults: 1 suppository of 2 g.
• Adults in more severe cases: 1 suppository of 3 g.

It is advisable to use the suppositories in the morning. Remove the suppository from the packaging and insert it into the anus. The effect occurs within 15–60 minutes. After insertion, it is recommended to delay the bowel movement for a while so that the stool softens sufficiently.

Ingredients. Glycerin, stearic acid, sodium carbonate.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children.
